As prior Director of Education and Training for BVC, Margaret brings to her CTT accreditation programs a thorough understanding of the core competencies participants seek to develop and put into practice as BVC Certified Consultants. As a new Global Partner Faculty member, Margaret creates a highly engaging experience packed with insights about the Barrett Model and how to apply and work with the Cultural Transformation Tools. Her personal area of focus is on leadership development and employee engagement. She weaves into her pre- and post-program support additional thought leadership around the latest research on the adoption of mindfulness and emotional intelligence in the workplace to improve employee creativity, collaboration, and performance.
Prior to working for BVC, Margaret worked as an independent leadership development and instructional design consultant for 15 years designing, developing and delivering dozens of blended learning programs. She’s worked directly with senior leadership for a host of Fortune 2000 companies in the US including: TDBank, IDEXX, WEX, Unum, Liberty Mutual, ZeOmega, DaVita Village Health, Boston Medical Center, Care360, PowerPay, Qualidgm.
She’s accredited in each of the certification levels BVC offers as well as in Project Management from PMI and Collaborative Leadership from Lift360 (formerly the Institute for Civic Leadership). She’s earned her post-graduate degree in Human Development and Learning Environments from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology from the University of Massachusettes. She speaks at international conferences and publishes on a regular basis.
