Pleuntje van Meer (The Hague, Netherlands and Hythe, UK) is a mentor, sparring partner, and coach who inspires others with energy, original thinking, feedback, and experience. She is the co-founder of Synnova, focusing on accelerating learning, change, and transformation for organisations and individuals. Being broadly educated as an economist and in political studies, she finished her action research doctorate in organisational change, at Ashridge-Hult business school in the UK in 2018. She has partnered with the Barrett Values Centre since 2001 and has been applying the tools as a consultant and a trainer in Dutch, English and basic German.
Her aim for the CTT training is to support participants in working with CTT, culture, and values effectively, through deepening knowledge and case experience. The workshop starts with some learning modules upfront, including case studies, and is followed by practical support afterward.
The values she brings to the work are learning, integrity and commitment. What she has learned about values is the importance of giving them meaning both in terms of behaviour towards others, as much as to ourselves, through living them inwardly. Pleuntje reflects and shares her work through articles, book chapters, and toolkits, in which you can find more on the BVC website, LinkedIn, and http://www.synnova.com.
As a person, Pleuntje is curious, transparent and caring. She enjoys reading, writing, walks, and creative explorations in her painting studio. Home for her is the best place to recharge, connect with family, friends and spend time with her mini-schnauzer dog, Tika.
